Shohei Ohtani mother Kayoko Otani played badminton at the public level in her secondary school. Kayoko has three youngsters together. Shohei was born on July 5, 1994, in Oshu city, situated in Iwate Prefecture as the most youthful part in the family. The baseball star came from an athletic family, as his dad played beginner baseball, and his mom was a Japanese badminton player. His brother Ryuta likewise plays baseball.
